People in many different walks of life use Geographic Information technologies in a wide variety of social and environmental applications. To better serve this varied community, Penn State provides a wide array of educational offerings - one is sure to meet your needs.
Degree Programs
Aspiring geographic information science professionals can earn AS or BS
degrees in surveying from the College of Engineering (Wilkes-Barre Campus), a BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Geography (with a
concentration in GIScience), or a Professional Masters Degree in GIS from the Department of Geography
in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences.
Credit Certificate Programs
